GE's streetlamps of the future contain sensors that can sense the weather, traffic, and other useful information. To educate city officials and residents about their intelligent lighting grid, we created "Smart Street Lamps" that people could talk with to receive the weather, directions to the nearest subway stop, and even receive UBER gift codes.
