As an ongoing effort to inspire young scientists, GE launched "EmojiScience," a social-driven campaign the uses emojis as an engaging way to simplify scientific concepts. To launch the campaign, we created the "The Emoji Table of Experiments" and the world's first "Emoji Science Lab" hosted in one of New York University's laboratories. Snapchat participants sent GE their favorite emoji and in real-time were sent back related experiments.

To extend the campaign, we we co-created a video series with Mashable and Bill Nye, lesson plans for teachers, an interactive Tumblr with educational content, a Facebook Messenger Quiz Bot, and pop culture-related content such as May the 4th (Star Wars Day).

Coverage by FastCo and Digiday lead to an estimated 2.4 billion earned media impressions.
